this and that

it's almost december!!!!

tonight, i am going to bed hoping that the rain outside turns to snow and dreaming of snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes! (yes i am aware that it does not snow in southern virginia in december, but a girl can wish right?)

also, to put me further into the holiday mood pa-thug and i made a batch of Christmas cookies!


also, an update on our training: we finished the 10k just under 70 min!!! not 1/2 marathon pace but good for our first run together!

nor'easter

so there is a nor'easter moving off the coast.  being the hypochondriac/weather follower that i am i have deiced this should occupy my life until i leave for chicago. weather.com says:

good thing my i know how to properly accessorize my hunter wellies!

perhaps in another life i would warm up my visa and purchase this to properly ride out this east coast situation: vinyard vines

she just looks so happy in a jacket that insinuates impending doom or just 4 days of rain and strong hurricane force winds!  perhaps the winds will propel us to chicago FASTER!!!

its COLD

so i know i talk about how cold it is like all the time. but is cold. so cold i have sacrificed fashion in the name of preventing frost bite. its awful.


i just returned from a wonderful tapas dinner with kelly. good times and great to catch up. marked by sadness b.c alex was not present.

second best part. i went to the kiehls store and FINALLY replaced my lipbalm. i don't know how i survived this long. AlSO, at borders i found my fave notepads. the tri-pack of kate spade. i was on my last sheet of pink so its great to have a replacement. AND i don't have to go to the office tomorrow.


well its off to bed i have a big day of apt hunting tomorrow!

BRRRR.

so last night i was so cold we did not have internet. oh and the tv would not work so i missed the office. i guess since i live it everyday that would be ok, BUT ITS NOT.

right now its -12.

i don't care how long you have been in the real world. that's cold.

to keep warm i don't even know what to wear. maybe tight under my jeans?


I am supposed to be meeting girls at Cafe Ba Ba ReeBa tonight. i don't know if i'm gonna be able to brave the cold. But i do love it there.

SNOW!!!

the forcast says we(us here in Chicago) should getting between 4 and 10 inches of snow. yet, i will still have to go to work. gone is the excitement over snow...

at least i have my new hunter boots!!! they are great for going threw the snow/sleet/nastyness of winter!
