you know i love gossip girl.   however, i must confess i have been speaking poorly of this season (even comparing it to season 3 of THE O.C.) 

However, monday night's thanksgiving episode has given me hope!  (also did you notice how hot nate was???)

SPOILERS BELOW if you have not watched do not read any further!!!!!

not only was eleanore waldorf back and dorota preggers but serena is off on another wild ride and blair is eating pie again!!!!!  it was a glimpse back into season one and i was in heaven! (i would have liked to see eleanore pregnant as she was in the books -they baby's name was yale!)

back to how hot nate was... i would have picked him over trip any day ... sorry trip. 

it is killing me to know what was in that letter and i think they might keep it from us for a while... any ideas????

do you think trip will really leave maureen?  what is lilly hiding ????  when is nelly yuki coming back?

i cannot wait until next monday.  also blake lively is on SNL this saturday so we don't have to go a whole week w/o gg!!

AMH and I were true GG fans from the beginning.  She read the books, and introduced me to the series our sr year of college.  I have loved the show and been a big fan from the start.  This season, however has got me worried.  While I still love Blair and her cattiness I'm wondering where this season is going.  While I have yet to watch the episode from last night, these are the primary questions I have for this season.
1.  What is with Serena?  Is she going to go to Brown?  Is she still in PR? - I just can't get into that one.
2.  Nate's Drama.  So over it.  And PS what is with that new haircut he was sporting in last week's ep?
3.  Georgina- Where did she go?  Did Dortota do her off for good?
4.  Chuck and Blair.  Can't they just be together? - together without that dumb 3some game
5.  Where are all of B's headbands? - i miss them
6.  How much longer of this Hillary Duff plot?

Tonight I'm going to catch up on the last episode.  Let's hope some of my q's are answered and the show's plot starts to improve!

rough week

so after my horrid sunday the week just keep on going full speed ahead. not much to talk about, busy busy.

I missed the first 1/2 of GG and missed the city, but i did get my nike +. Missed the office and 30 rock. cant wait for the morning to catch up!

i did get the Feb edition of Real Simple and InStyle. as alex can attest this was v. stressful for me and did start the upswing of my week.

today MLF sent me flowers at work!! they are so wonderful and everyone was asking me about them. i think they thought i made up MLF until then. (picture to come soon!) this was the highlight of the week and maybe month!!!

only 7 days until i move in to the new apt.
14 until i see my mom and sister! (abby thats for you!)

hump day

so we made it almost past hump day. i am finally getting to watch GG tonight. so i will blog after/in the morning.

this week has been super crazy thus far and i hope the weekend is amaz. LEZNETS is comming to chicago. julie my college roommate(omg i'm so old... only old people talk like that) told me the other day!!!!

hopefully she plans something fun and not lame... now if only holly was coming too.

i am so glad Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage have seen what a class character nelly yuki is. i have loved her from her the v. first episode. how classic was it when flo ridder brought her to tears. i also am in love with her glasses. this picture is of last seasons glasses. they have gotten MUCH BETTER.
this week she is the down fall of dan and serena. that is a little much. but i forgive her.

highlight: when she ditches lil'j to stay with penelop, hazel and Iz.

apt update

finding an apartment is very hard. i did not get my act together to go see the ones i had picked out. so now i cant go see those bc i blew them off. AHHH life is so hard.

at least it was GG tonight! looking foward to GG tuesday!

Gossip Girl Tuesday

in honor of our college tradition, wine tuesday. when alex and i would polish off a liter and half of sauvignon blanc and either a dish of bufflo chicken dip or taco dip and watch tv. (its ok it was college and totall acceptable to do things like that, see we have stoped since graduation, and i have lost those unwanted lbs) as well we have decided to devote tuesday to gossip girl.

i have an unhealthy obsession...

gossip girl. its not just the tv show either. when i was a freshman in college i got really into the books. my sister who got me into them was in highschool. we used to fight over them at the pool. oh the days.

anyway today i got to thinking What Would Blair Waldorf Do-Wear? should be a regular on our blog. many times a day i ask myself.

from getting dress, to shopping (wishing for one of those prada headbands -I DIE- if i ever found one i would not be able to stop from buying it) to some bitchy remark to put someone else in their place. i just need her in my life.
