in the dumps

so after my awful day of apt hunting saturday i was back on craigs list and the internet today looking for more places. i have decided that maybe what i need to do is move in with some other 20-something females. this way i can also get more of the amenities i desire as well as some new friends!

clutch things like in apt washer/dryer, newer normal (read non closet sized) kitchens come standard. you can get an amazing 2 or 3 bedroom apt for little more then you can get a one bedroom for. plus you can split utilities/space/DVR/internet more ways!

and one even has a dog already living there!!!



hopefully they like me and i have some good news soon!

its COLD

so i know i talk about how cold it is like all the time. but is cold. so cold i have sacrificed fashion in the name of preventing frost bite. its awful.


i just returned from a wonderful tapas dinner with kelly. good times and great to catch up. marked by sadness b.c alex was not present.

second best part. i went to the kiehls store and FINALLY replaced my lipbalm. i don't know how i survived this long. AlSO, at borders i found my fave notepads. the tri-pack of kate spade. i was on my last sheet of pink so its great to have a replacement. AND i don't have to go to the office tomorrow.


well its off to bed i have a big day of apt hunting tomorrow!

apt update

finding an apartment is very hard. i did not get my act together to go see the ones i had picked out. so now i cant go see those bc i blew them off. AHHH life is so hard.

at least it was GG tonight! looking foward to GG tuesday!

Promotion

today at work i got a MASSIVE promotion. i got a desk. i know your probably thinking how did i have a "desk job" without a desk. well i had one. it was just adjacent to my boss and award. he could see everything i was doing. so it was just excel a.l.l.d.a.y.l.o.n.g. today when i arrived at said job i went to my desk and everything was gone.

what a pleasant surprise to start my second month of work!!!

in my old life i would have gone out at lunch and purchased myself a little present...

but my other big news is that i'm looking for my very own APT!!!!
