this weekend i am visiting ajh with lisa in dayton ohio. this is going to be so much fun!!!

also lisa (aka my mom) joined fbook. yes!!

since i dont have my mac blogging is going to be tres difficult this wekend. will post pictures when back in chicago.

i'm in and doing well! boxes are every where still but E and M are being great about it! its nice to have my own place! picture will be coming soon.

WEEKEND!

i am very excited about this weekend! not only am i moving in to my apt but MF and my dad are coming!!!

in celebration of v-day and two years together MF and i will be doing NOTHING. i am so pumped!

but i think we will have to hit up Hearty Boys for their first brunch! thanks for the update DC!!

smelly hotdogs

you know that smell when people drink coffee all morning... and they then carry a stench throughout the entire day (sort of like smelly hotdogs)... well anne-marie has recent experience with this (not her of course) but another unmentionable at said desk job. here's to passing on the breath mints!

my disdain for public transport.

it all started yesterday.

first i have to admit, i'm that girl. having had a cellphone from the age of 15, i think everyone in my generation has the same issues. we must make calls! so while sitting on the el i tend to talk on the phone. while driving in the car, i tend to talk on the phone(DON'T TELL THE CPD)

so per the ususge. i was on the phone with my mom while on the el yesterday. i was aware of my surroundings and positioned my self by the door that does not open. WELL, it got croweded and this man was like PRESSED up against me. like im talking i had no wiggle room (did i mention i HATE STRANGERS TOUCHING ME). so i had to get off the phone. i thought this would make him back up... NO. he would like bump in to me and then press harder. EWWWW.

finally i was a hugh B*TCH and like pushed him away and made a run for it.

(this would never happend in my own car)


another thing about the el is that i'm not the only one on the phone. some people talk really soft others VERY loud. this does not bother me as much as the people who speak in 1/2 english and 1/2 spanish. mostly b.c i know some spanish and can tell what they are saying... and its nothing to special. why do they do that???? are they just trying to show off????

you cannot see my fav. detail about the spa wrap... it has a ruffle detail about 5 inches from the bottom. i think my monogram will fit perfectly below it!

overall, i found the grammy fashion to be nothing of note.

however, below are my two favorite looks. one of my new fav artists, taylor swift looked stunning, as always.

however, jennifer hudson was my favorite. she just looks so fierce. congrats to her!

The City

is anyone else really confused with who erin lucas is??? she went to NYU so she is not a theta sister from USC. this week she talks about working at a clothing store and being a hostes. how does she live in that apt if these are her jobs???

apparently she is the daughter of Cliff Williams (AC/DC Fame). and her and whit went to high school together.

i wish my dad was a rock star so being unemployeed ment i was soul searching!!! while living in a kick ass apt.

rough week

so after my horrid sunday the week just keep on going full speed ahead. not much to talk about, busy busy.

I missed the first 1/2 of GG and missed the city, but i did get my nike +. Missed the office and 30 rock. cant wait for the morning to catch up!

i did get the Feb edition of Real Simple and InStyle. as alex can attest this was v. stressful for me and did start the upswing of my week.

today MLF sent me flowers at work!! they are so wonderful and everyone was asking me about them. i think they thought i made up MLF until then. (picture to come soon!) this was the highlight of the week and maybe month!!!

only 7 days until i move in to the new apt.
14 until i see my mom and sister! (abby thats for you!)

Nike +

so today was the first nice day in a long time here in chicago. so i went for a run.

and much to my dismay my trusty nike + would not work. i am so close to tears i don't know what to do. apparently every time i wear my shoes it turns on and so i have well wasted the 1000 hours of battery life.

so tommorow im off to the apple store to get a new one.

and this one will only stay on the shoes when i'm running.
