Michael Scott

so i have this job. i dont like it all that much but its a job and i get to use excel (its my fav!)

there is one major problem...

my boss is MICHAEL SCOTT

i am the only person in the office who notices. on wednesday, new years eve, we have a office wide meeting to look at 50 of the 300 pictures he recently took on his vacation. (this is instead of leaving early)

today we also had an hour long meeting about the fact that after this week i will be moving desks (right now i sit adjacent to MS). we had to talk about everyone's feelings on this issue ... AWKWARD

i almost forgot, along with the pictures there is going to be trivia about his vacation.

when do i go back to college???

HOME

for the first time since i scored my own big kid job i am traveling home on wednesday. this is a v. big deal as now i am a true adult. pa-thug and lisa better respect. however since i no longer have a home ( my parents moved a-la LC) i am going to the g-rents.

one of the not so good perks that comes with being a big kid is the fact that i have to now give gifts to all those i love. while i LOVE giving gifts (AND GETTING THEM) this year i have found it v. hard. probally b.c i am so BUSY.
so busy i have not even decided what i want santa to bring me...

Public Transportation

since my move to chicago, i have been using a lot of public transportation. something i never thought i would do.

(i include cabs in public transportation)

the newness is wearing off and i am missing my car and ample parking lots of suburbia. i am also convinced that if i was to have a 21st century web enabled phone i would love public transportation.

i am also confused what about being on public transportation makes people lose all scene of personal boundaries. whether its the bag lady, or the i banker people love to rub up on you as you press your way in, OR they sit right next to you when there are PLENTY of open seats all over the car.
